We just received this breaking news today – you can witness history in the making at a dancehall reggae event guaranteed to shut down New York City. On September 5, 2009 (this Labor Day weekend), 2 of dancehall reggae’s biggest icons, Grammy Award winner Beenie Man and Bounty Killa are performing live on the same stage for the first time in Manhattan, New York. Special guest Machel Montano will also be performing. This promises to be an intense and energetic show, not to be missed.

We were thrilled to hear that 5 Star General AKA The Poor People’s Governor, Bounty Killa, has been added to the Beenie Man show. But it gets better: this historic dancehall show is free of charge before 12 midnight!

Machel Montano is also on the bill and ads and rumors indicate that Serani will perform as well.

Yes, you read it correctly – this free show is compliments of The Doctor, Anthony Moses “BEENIE MAN” Davis. You’re invited to help the King of the Dancehall celebrate his birthday free of charge, while space is available.
