Sean Kingston Face Drop free MP3 download

Sean Kingston Face Drop from the Tomorrow albumFace Drop, Sean Kingston‘s 2nd single from Tomorrow, follows Fire Burning on the Dancefloor with more of his pop reggae sound but takes a different course with more significant lyrics.

Face Drop is a dancehall pop story of Sean Kingston‘s response to a beautiful girl who puts him down for his weight. Sean’s response is that if she cannot love him for who his is then he’s better off without her. Face Drop tells the story of superficial appearances versus true love and self worth, which echoes Kingston’s own recent statements to Billboard.com that he’s “found himself” and is seeking more mature, even conscious themes in his second pop dancehall album, Tomorrow.

Regardless of what you think of the moral of the story, Face Drop producer Lucas Secon‘s catchy hooks and bass-heavy synths will probably make it at least as popular as Kingston’s Fire Burning, which peaked at #5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 list and is holding on at #23 at the time of this writing. Fire Burning has already sold 1.6 million digital downloads, so you should get used to Sean Kingston whether you think he’s attractive or not, because his tracks are radio-friendly and destined for heavy rotation.

Tomorrow is Sean Kingston‘s sophomore album, following his self titled debut, Sean Kingston, which included the hit singles Beautiful Girls, Me Love, and Take You There. Tomorrow is scheduled for full release on September 22 on the E1/Beluga Heights/Epic label and continues his popular mix of pop, club, reggae, and dancehall music sounds, with a splash of hiphop for flavor.

Sean Kingston Face Drop Video

Face Drop is an interesting new look for Sean Kingston, mixing animation with black and white live action video shots for an overall look that’s reminiscent of some of Kanye West‘s visual works. The video features an animated Lil Sean character who ironically is pretty skinny. Here’s the Sean Kingston Facedrop video.

Sean Kingston Face Drop lyrics

Face Drop follows in the theme of Sean Kingston‘s previous songs with autotone vocals matched to repetitive, simple lyrics. But hey, the guy’s still young and at least this time there’s a message, right?

Kingston, hey face drop, oh Kingston
I see your face drop, drop, drop
You touch my hear, disappear
I never knew how much it hurt here
(Made me feel like)

My girl, girl, girl, girl, girl
First came trust then came love
But this was none of the above, I’m aware
(Made me feel like)
My girl, girl, girl, girl, girl hey

But you’re the one who said that I’d be lost without you
No, no, no, no
You had your fun, couldn’t write this one without you, baby
No, no, no

And now I see your face drop
I told you not to leave me alone
Now that I got my own I see your face drop
I told you not to count me out

‘Cause you always try to fill me with doubt
Sayin’ that I look better if I was thinner
Don’t you know you should’ve loved me for my inner
When I left you, yo, I came out a winner

And all I can I understand
That every girl do for their man
(Made me feel like)
My girl, girl, girl, girl, girl

But you’re the one who said that I’d be lost without you
No, no, no, no
You had your fun, couldn’t write this one without you, baby
No, no, no

And now I see your face drop
I told you not to leave me alone
Now that I got my own I see your face drop
I told you not to count me out

‘Cause you always try to fill me with doubt
Sayin’ that I look better if I was thinner
Don’t you know you should’ve loved me for my inner
When I left you, yo, I came out a winner

Tellin’ me come on back, what will I do from that?
I will still, still be yours if you knew how to act
But you underestimate a dude like me
And I love it when I see your

face drop, I told you not to leave me alone
Now that I got my own I see your face drop
I told you not to count me out

‘Cause you always try to fill me with doubt
Sayin’ that I look better if I was thinner
Don’t you know you should’ve loved me for my inner
When I left you, yo, I came out a winner

And now I see your face drop
I told you not to leave me alone
Now that I got my own I see your face drop
I told you not to count me out

‘Cause you always try to fill me with doubt
Sayin’ that I look better if I was thinner
Don’t you know you should’ve loved me for my inner
When I left you, yo, I came out a winner

About Sean Kingston

Sean Kingston‘s path to become an international pop dancehall star began with his self-titled Sean Kingston album. He was recently signed to Epic Records, which will release Tomorrow (and we can expect more from the same place).

Sean Kingston was born in Miami and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, the geographic heart of reggae and dancehall music. The Sean Kingston album has sold over 1 million copies and has been certified platinum, all before Sean’s 18th birthday. Beautiful Girls was Sean Kingston‘s first and biggest hit single from his first album, which also included top 10 hits Me Love and Take You There. Tomorrow is off to a slightly slower start, with Fire Burning, his first single, hitting top 10 but not #1. You can read Sean Kingston‘s full biography here.

Kingston has stated that “The musical journey for me has been crazy. A lot of people try to fight me out. The industry people judge you on your outer appearance. Because I’m a big kid, dem say I am overweight. Mi fight me way to the record label to put out the first album. I am blessed now and I’m taking care of my family, which is the most important thing,”

Of all the songs I’ve listened to in 2009,Sean Kingston’s face drop remains one of the few i love for both the beats & most especially, the lyrics.it passes the message that no matter what negative people think about you,its all left for you to either accept it or reject it.You are what you believe you are.
